What is your favorite thing about TTU?

My favorite thing about TTU would be the sense of community I developed in such a short time after being here. As soon as I stepped on campus, everyone made me feel right at home. There was a ton of fun to be had and so many inviting people!

What is your most memorable TTU experience so far?

My most memorable experience at Tech so far was The Purple Mile (Color Run). It was so much fun!

How did you choose your major?

I have always loved the medical field. My family and I have been in and out of medical facilities and it always intrigued me. The sense of making a difference in someone’s life while dealing with all the cool medical stuff is the best gig there is. Nurses get to impact patient’s lives all day long!

What is your favorite meal at TTU?

I am really a fan of the breakfast at the University Center Cafeteria. There is nothing that I have tried that I do not like!

Advice for incoming college freshman from your experience so far?

Do your best to get involved in anything you possibly can. Go out of your comfort zone and meet new people. Odds are they are just as shy as you are!

What is your favorite TTU Tradition and why?

My favorite TTU tradition would have to be Week of Welcome. It is truly the coolest thing when you have a week of SUPER AWESOME events planned to help you get involved, have fun, and get to know people! Truly my favorite week of college.

What kind of extracurricular activities are you involved in on campus and in the community?

On Campus I am involved in the Student Nurses Association, Baptist Collegiate Ministry, and I take part in just about every intramural sport there is!

What movie star would you play in a movie? Why?

Jennifer Lawrence. Although we look nothing alike, she is extremely funny and would probably make my life seem way more interesting than it actually is!

What was your biggest mistake as a freshman? What did you learn from that experience?

My biggest mistake as a freshman was procrastinating to study for my first test. I thought I could get by with studying a day or two like I did in high school. I was wrong and did not make the grade I wanted. I learned that college is different and I would need to prioritize and start studying a lot earlier!

What is your favorite book?
