Welcome to the TTU SGA website!
I hope you are ready for an exciting year at Tennessee Tech. I am happy to announce the continued success with the S.O.L.O. fund. In 2010 students on campus voted and passed a referendum, which implemented the Student Organizations Life Opportunity Fund (S.O.L.O.) here on campus. This fund provides much needed monies to student organizations on campus, and it also enables us to sponsor one major event on campus each semester. Last Fall the headliner was Dierks Bentley and last Spring we had Josh Turner! These concerts have all been great successes and we look forward to what the future holds.
It is essential for you to know SGA’s sole purpose is to represent the student body and voice their concerns to the administration here on campus. This can be done by contacting your representative senator, whose contact information is on this site. All of us in student government believe this campus is extraordinary, but it takes your help and comments to keep it this way!
Student government on campus is comprised of an executive branch, legislative branch, and judicial branch. This allows students on campus to take a true role in the future of our university. These three branches are comprised of four executive officers, forty Senators, nine Supreme Court Judges, and nine cabinet members.
If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please feel free to come by the office located in room 115 of the Roaden University Center and I or a member of SGA will be more than happy to discuss them with you. Have a wonderful year on campus and remember SGA is here for you!
