Dean of Students' statement regarding Phi Gamma Delta incident:
Tennessee Tech carefully reviewed and applied its Student Conduct policy to the facts
related to an alleged incident involving the chapter of Phi Gamma Delta. Per the policy,
chapter operations were suspended during the investigation. Tennessee Tech investigated
the allegation in cooperation with the international organization and determined that
while the incident did not rise to the level of a violation as defined by Tennessee
law, it was serious enough to necessitate member education. Tennessee Tech and Phi
Gamma Delta international headquarters have agreed on expectations and educational
measures the chapter will implement moving forward.
