A native to Cookeville and third-generation graduate of Tennessee Tech, Brandon began working in University Development in 2007. Brandon worked as the Assistant Director of Annual Giving for six years where he reached out to alumni and friends on behalf of the departments and programs on campus. Brandon and his wife, Julie Beth also a Cookeville native, live in Cookeville with their children, Will Henry and Annie Blake.


Kevin Anderson, Assistant Director, Annual Programs

Kevin is a Nashville native and holds two degrees from Tennessee Tech: a Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and a Master’s in Psychology. He has been the Assistant Director of Annual Giving at TTU since July 2014. Before making the move to Annual Giving he worked in the Office of Student Activities for two years as a Graduate Assistant and Advisor. Additionally, Kevin has experience in business management, nonprofit organization, e-commerce and publishing. He is married to Dr. Jennifer Anderson, an Assistant Professor of Political Science at TTU. Together, they have one son, Boone.

Brooke 2012

Brooke joined TTU as a student and student worker in May 1998. She has been in the Development Office since 2002 after graduating with a BS degree in Management. Brooke lives in Baxter with her family.

Cheryl 2012

Cheryl Montgomery, Director of Development, College of Business Administration

Cheryl joined the TTU Development Staff in December of 2007 after holding positions in both the government and private sector. From 2000-2007, she worked as the Economic Development Manager for Sprint Corporation. Her government work included a political post at the US Department of Justice from 1995-2000. At the Justice Department she served as Director of Scheduling and Briefing for Attorney General Janet Reno. Prior to her Justice tenure Cheryl held staff positions in the United States Senate and the United States House of Representatives. Cheryl is a native of the Upper Cumberland and now resides in Cookeville with her two sons, Ben and Will.

Kristie 2012

Kristie is a native of Cookeville who joined the TTU Annual Fund office in June 2001. A 1993 graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, Kristie has used her public relations skills in newspaper as business editor for the Putnam Morning Light, in radio as promotions director for Clear Channel Communications, and in marketing as an account executive for MMA Creative. Kristie is an active volunteer for many activities and organizations, including Fall FunFest, Cooking on the Square benefiting Habitat for Humanity and the Hawg Roast benefiting Genesis House.

A Cookeville native and proud life-long member of the Golden Eagle family, Tiff has had the great privilege of helping university alumni and friends plan their estate gifts to TTU since 1994, shortly after receiving his MBA and accounting degrees from Tech. He lives in Cookeville with his wife Vickie (a 2nd grade teacher who also holds two degrees from the university) and their two children, Kinsley and Tanner (future TTU graduates).

Tracy Russell, Director of Planned Giving

Tracy joined the development staff at TTU in 2009, following a fifteen year career in financial services, most recently as Vice President & Financial Planner at First Tennessee in Cookeville. As Director of Planned Giving, Tracy helps friends of the university achieve their ultimate philanthropic goals with appropriate financial and estate planning techniques. Tracy earned his bachelor's degree from TTU's College of Business, majoring in Finance & Economics and served as captain of the Golden Eagle football team. Tracy is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER TM professional and a State of Tennessee licensed insurance producer. He and his wife, Bedelia Hicks Russell (TTU School of Nursing, 1997) have two children and have made Cookeville their home since 2001.

Kristin 2012

Kristin Wells, Director of Development, College of Arts and Sciences

Kristin was previously the Director of Development and Marketing for WCTE PBS Television. A graduate of the University of Kentucky, Kristin moved to Tennessee in 1993 and now enjoys raising two boys in Cookeville. Kristin's activities include volunteering for WCTE, Friends of Genesis House and singing soprano with Mastersingers.

Brent is a native of Sparta who joined the Development staff in early 2015. As a 2002 graduate of TTU and a 2010 MBA graduate of UOP Brent has used his degrees toward marketing, broadcast, non-profit work with the local and national Jaycee organization and sales consulting for 94.7 The Country Giant and 98.5 Kiss FM. During his undergraduate years at Tech, Brent worked as a student worker in the Alumni office and was an active member in the Student Alumni Ambassador program. Brent is a member of the Phi Gamma Delta Fraternity (Fiji) where he held various leadership roles and responsibilities. Brent's activities include volunteer work as the Central Regional Director for the State of Tennessee Jaycee organization, donating his spare time at Camp Discovery, volleyball and being a dad to 5 French Bulldogs and a Maltese.

Amanda 2015

Amanda Fabrizio, Director of Development, College of Engineering

A native from the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania region, Amanda joined the TTU development team in February 2015 as the Director of Development for the College of Engineering. She graduated with her Bachelor of Arts in Communications from DeSales University and her Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Lehigh University. Before joining the Tech family, she worked in communications at Lehigh's Industrial and Systems Engineering Department and in the university development offices at Immaculata University and Pratt Institute. Amanda lives in Chattanooga with her boyfriend Danny, who is an Associate Dean of Students at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, and their dog Sonic.
