Giving to Tennessee Tech

Donor Recognition

At Tennessee Tech, we recognize our donors' generosity through various recognition societies. These societies not only honor our donors but also illustrate how their support fosters excellence at TTU.

President's Club

The President's Club honors donors in five different societies. Gifts that count towards President's Club recognition include gifts of cash, stock or property, corporate matching gifts, gifts-in-kind, pledges, and irrevocable planned gifts. (Planned gifts are also recognized in the Visionaries Society.)

Eagle Society: $10,000 (must average a minimum of $1,000 per year)

Tower Society: $25,000 (must average a minimum of $2,500 per year)

Derryberry Society: $50,000 (must average a minimum of $5,000 per year)

1915 Society: $100,000 (must average a minimum of $10,000 per year)

President's Circle: $1,000,000 (must average a minimum of $100,000 per year; membership is permanent)

For more information about the President's Club, contact Brooke Fleenor at 931-372-6150 or bljones@tntech.edu.

Visionaries Society

The Visionaries Society recognizes those individuals who have made a commitment to Tennessee Tech via wills, trusts, insurance policies, etc. The only requirement for membership is that Tennessee Tech is made aware of your planned gift. For more information about the Visionaries Society, please contact Tiff Rector at 931-372-3159 or tiffrector@tntech.edu.

Employee Giving

Tennessee Tech is fortunate to have amazing employees who go above and beyond to make TTU a great University and a great place to work. They not only give of their time but of their philanthropy as well. Employees who give are offered a custom email signature. When you see the words "I support TTU" in an email signature, you will know this employee chooses to give to TTU.

Employees can direct their gift to the college, department, or program of their choice through the payment option that works best for them, including payroll deduction. For more information about giving via payroll deduction, contact Misty Kline at 931-372-6102 or mkline@tntech.edu.

True to Tech

This recognition club was established to encourage continuous annual giving. Donors are automatically recognized after two or more successive years of giving. This program has grown to be very popular with almost 5,000 donors ranging from 2 to 43 years of continuous giving. For more information about True to Tech, please contact Brandon Boyd at 931-372-3997 or bboyd@tntech.edu.
