The Tennessee Board of Regents has changed guidelines regarding educational benefits for faculty and staff members at its member institutions, beginning summer 2014.

The PC191 form has been changed to the Request for Educational Assistance (Fee Waiver P-130) form for regular, full-time benefited employees, to be used only at TBR and University of Tennessee schools.

New guidelines for participating faculty and staff members:

  • Participant must complete and pass the course. 
  • Participant must work for TTU for the same number of weeks after the term is over that the participant was in school. If not, course charges must be repaid.
  • If a participant will be taking classes during regular work hours, he or she will be required to submit with this form a Request for Alternate Work Schedule showing how he or she will be making up the class time.

In addition, the Staff Scholarship has changed to the Request for Tuition Reimbursement (P-130) form for regular, full and part-time benefited employees.

Prospective faculty or staff members who wish to participate in these educational benefits must use the new forms beginning summer term 2014.
