Tennessee Tech University's Tennessee Small Business Development Center is seeking student interns for the upcoming summer, fall and spring semesters.
Interns with the TTU TSBDC get hands-on experience working with small business clients and gain a vital familiarity with the world outside of the classroom. Internships can be vital as resume builders - previous TSBDC student interns have received job offers from Fortune 100 companies right out of college because of the experiential learning gained during the internship.
The TTU TSBDC is located inside the College of Business. Both paid internships and unpaid class credit internships are available. Students pursuing the class credit internship option will be responsible for handling the proper departmental and university paperwork to have the internship approved.
Students of all majors are welcome to apply. Preference will be given to students whose academic status as of the start of the fall 2014 semester will be junior or senior level.
The application will open for a very limited time from 8 a.m. April 14 until 4:30 p.m C.S.T. April 18. The application can be found at http://www.ucsbdc.org/intern. Applicants should not stop by the TSBDC office, as all the information about the internship is available on the website.
