The School of Agriculture is hosting a fundraiser with free food, live music and great prizes at 4:30 p.m. Thursday on the Main Quad.
The event will benefit TTU student Terance Scales, who was diagnosed with colon cancer over the summer. Despite the diagnosis, Scales is continuing to pursue his degree. To help him and millions of others with their fight against the disease, all proceeds from the fundraiser will go toward cancer research.
Raffle tickets will be $1 each for items including gift certificates and other prizes. Sign a team up for $10 for the corn hole tournament and win as much as $100. There will also be a football toss, cake walk, hillbilly golf, homemade desserts and other games and prizes.
