Beginning this fall, students who confirm enrollment by Aug. 14 may use their financial aid for purchases in the University Bookstore.
“In response to requests from students, the university is proud to partner with the University Bookstore to make this service available,” said Claire Stinson, TTU vice president for business and planning.
By connecting to the University Bookstore website through Eagle Online, students can select the textbooks and supplies they need and choose financial aid as the method of payment. Purchases will be available for pick-up in the University Bookstore on or after Aug. 22. In the event financial aid is not available or is insufficient to cover the purchases, the bookstore will contact students to ask them to provide an alternate payment method.
Get ready for fall semester by ordering your books now. New and used books are available, or you can take advantage of the bookstore’s rental program. Financial aid can be used to cover rental fees as well.
Rentals can be converted to a purchase during the first two weeks of class; otherwise the rental period is for the duration of the semester. Books are due back at the bookstore no later than 10 days after the last day of finals. Courtesy e-mails will go out toward the end of the semester to remind students to return rented books.
