The Learning Resources Center (LRC) exists to support the students, faculty, and staff of the College of Education offering access to books, materials, manipulatives, equipment, and technologies.

We want to hear from you

  • The LRC houses more than 30,000 print resources, as well as numerous multimedia devices and laptop computers.
  • The LRC also acts as the Help Desk for the College of Education's Tk20 Data Management System. 
    • Click the Tk20 tab above for more information and resource links.
  • AV Permit Form is an online-only form for equipment check-out requests.
    • Please allow at least 1 day for processing before checking out AV items.
    • You will be notified by email when your application has been approved.  
    • NOTE: You must complete this form EVERY SEMESTER if you want to check out equipment.

Professional Books & MaterialsCOE LRC_circulation_desk_wb

  • Access the LRC for lessons plans, activity guides, resources for assessment, and classroom management reference materials. Students can also check out study guides for Praxis and other professional tests required for licensure.

Children's Book Collection & Puppets

  • Use the variety of books available in the LRC collection including easy readers, big books, pop-up books, novels, and informational texts for Kindergarten to college-level. We offer classics from Dr. Seuss and Eric Carle to the stories of Harry Potter and The Hunger Games. Also included in the children's collection is a set of puppets and puppet theater.

Text Books, Teacher's Editions & Support MaterialsCOE LRC_main_room_wb

  • As part of the state book adoption process, the LRC offers text books, teacher's editions, workbooks, transparencies, and other support materials - including a variety of manipulatives for math, science, reading, and more. Most items are available for check out to LRC patrons.

Technology & Electronics

  • From laptops, cameras, iPads and other equipment, students in the College of Education have access to extensive technological resources. Students must complete, and have approved, the AV Permit Form, prior to checking out electronics.
