Bio

Jim is an Assistant Professor of Business Management in department of Decision Sciences and Management. Jim had a broad and extensive career in industry with nearly 20 years focused on the production, delivery, and operations of software solutions for laboratories. Jim served in several roles including Product Management, Project Management, Account Management, and Account Development. Prior to working in software, he held technical positions in laboratory management, plant engineering, and quality engineering.

Jim brings this industry thinking to his research in healthcare informatics, cybersecurity, and data visualizations where he regularly asks questions around how systems provide value to the organization and the users of the systems. In his spare time, he enjoys English Football and time with his family.
