Giving to Tennessee Tech

Thank you for your interest in giving to Tennessee Tech. Your love for the Tennessee Tech community - its mission, students, and programs - has initiated your interest in giving. The next step is exploring the methods of giving available to you.

You may designate your gifts to current funds, restricted funds, or endowed funds. Current funds are used to meet immediate needs within the fiscal year. Restricted funds designate your gift to a specific need or program and will be used until funds are expended. Endowments will make an impact for years to come because the initial gift remains in the endowment while a portion of the interest is used for your designation.

There are even more ways to give: outright gifts, stocks or bonds, and planned giving - such as bequests, life insurance policies, and charitable trusts.

To maximize the impact of your generous gifts, and better align Tennessee Tech with practices across the country, an assessment of 5% may be assessed on gifts starting January 1, 2024.

More information about the assessment can be found here.
