Julie Pharr is a Professor of Marketing in the College of Business at Tennessee Tech University and holds a doctorate in marketing from Mississippi State University (1987). Dr. Pharr holds professional memberships in the American Marketing Association, Society for Marketing Advances, Association of Marketing Theory and Practice, Atlantic Marketing Association, and Phi Kappa Phi. She has published numerous papers in journals and conference proceedings and currently serves as a review board member of the Academic and Business Research Institute (AABRI). Dr. Pharr has served and continues to serve as a marketing consultant to businesses and non-profit organizations throughout the Upper Cumberland region in the areas of strategic marketing planning, customer service management, marketing research, and consumer intelligence.
