Dr. Steve Garner joined Tennessee Tech in Fall 2015 after receiving his PhD from the University of North Texas.  Dr. Garner has taught a number of accounting classes at Tech, including Survey of Accounting, Cost Accounting, and Intermediate Accounting II.   He has research interests in corporate governance, financial reporting, and oil and gas accounting.  Dr. Garner married Stephanie, a pharmacist, in 2018, and they have two dogs.  His interest outside the classroom include yoga, reading, hiking, exercising, and spending time with his family.
