Academic advisor to chemistry majors. Faculty advisor to the Student Members of the American Chemical Society student chapter and the Graduate Chemistry Club. Member of the American Chemical Society Undergraduate Student Advisory Board. Chair of the Nashville local section of the American Chemical Society 2022. Invited author for inChemistry Magazine.

Research interests include chemistry education projects involving making demonstrations safer and more accessible to non-scientists, and environmental projects involving the removal of metal contaminants from aqueous sources using chelating resins.
