Chair of the American Chemical Society Undergraduate Student Advisory Board. Associate member American Chemical Society Committee on Education (SOCED). Immediate Past Chair of the Nashville local section of the American Chemical Society 2023. Invited author for inChemistry Magazine.

Research interests include chemistry education projects involving making demonstrations safer and more accessible to non-scientists, and environmental projects involving the removal of metal contaminants from aqueous sources using chelating resins.
