The David Dan research group focuses on two main areas:  1) The design and synthesis of novel materials for radionuclide separations for spent nuclear fuel processing, and 2) Enhancing our fundamental understanding of lanthanides and actinides through the synthesis and study of novel lanthanide/actinide complexes.
