Associate Professor of Linguistics
Henderson Hall (HEND) 306A
: I have graduated with a Ph.D. in Linguistics with an emphasis on perceptual dialectology from the University of Georgia. My research investigates the perceptions of language that speakers have, and how those ideas and beliefs are organized. I teach the following linguistic classes: Introduction to Linguistics (ENGL4511), The History of English Language (ENGL4521), American English (ENGL4561), and Topics in Linguistics (ENGL4541). I also teach freshman composition (mostly ENGL1010).
