I am an Associate Professor in the Mathematics Department.  I enjoy mathematical research in the areas of wavelets and operator theory.  I also really like to think about how elementary school and middle school students learn math.  I spend a lot of time designing and leading enrichment lessons at those levels.  When I am not doing math, I enjoy spending time with my family and having outdoor adventures (and also talking about math with my kids!)
