Buddy has been teaching at Tennessee Tech for more than 10 years. He first started as an adjunct in Tech's EXPW department, teaching courses such as sports management, sports psychology, sports ethics, and facility management. In the Communication department, Buddy has taught the fundamentals of communication, broadcast journalism, news writing and copy editing, and mass communication. He serves as the advisor for Eagle View Productions, a media club which creates original content for broadcast and the web. Buddy has a bachelor's of arts in communications from Union University; a master's of science in human performance and sports studies/sports management from the University of Tennessee; and a master's of arts in journalism and strategic media from the University of Memphis.
