Dr. Alicia Laffoon holds a Ph.D. in Theory and Practice in Teacher Education from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Currently, she is a senior lecturer at Tennessee Tech University in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction. Alicia teaches a variety of junior and senior level elementary methods coursework and serves as a clinical supervisor and edTPA coach. Her research interest dwell within the social studies and her focus is teaching inquiry based social studies with primary and secondary sources.
