Dr. Wood has 17 years of combined experience in social work and school counseling, with a primary research focus on grief and loss. Dr. Wood is passionate about advocating for the integral role of school counselors within educational systems. Dr. Wood is a member of several professional organizations, including ASCA, SACES, ACES, ACA, AARC, CSJ, and NACG (National Alliance for Children’s Grief) including being a PSC Emerging Leader and a SACES Emerging Leader.
