About
Nicholas Gwin is excited to be joining the School of Fine Arts as Instructor of Technical Theatre. An Atlanta native, he has worked in Atlanta and across the Southeast over the last ten years, building and painting sets, programming lights, designing for various theatres, and teaching adjunct courses at local universities. He holds an MFA in Theatre Design and Technology from Indiana University and has dedicated many years to theatre education, both in and out of the classroom. He hopes to bring his creativity and innovative applications of technology to the Backdoor Playhouse as its Technical Director and Production Manager. He looks forward to the season ahead and connecting with the community through the performing arts at the Backdoor Playhouse. Go Golden Eagles!
