MET student: Jerone “Trey” Dudley, Construction Financial Management Association Scholarship Recipient
Jerone Dudley’s career in manufacturing began when hew as 18 years ole. His opportunities have expanded his career that contains a wide range of technical skills that includes die casting, forging, and logistical operations. Jerone is a valued team member, highly motivate, and intelligent. Because of his initiative to continually motivate his team members: he is a reliable leader. He is also attending Tennessee Technological University pursuing an undergraduate degree in manufacturing engineering and a minor in business. In addition to his work, school and family responsibilities, Jerone is engaged in the community as a reliable non-profit volunteer. His is often viewed as a magnet that attracts both his co-workers and community because he’s an attentive listener. Listening skills translate into action and this has made Jerone an authoritative figure, one who is knowledgeable and aware of how to manage a team, creates and implement, and succeed in his endeavors. Jerone Dudley is a humble representation of his strengths and takes pride in training, developing, and empowering individual in the workplace, in the community and in his volunteer work. “The fact that I’ve grown and I’m learning how to be a leader is the greatest accomplishment of my career” states Jerone. “My immediate goal is to graduate from Tennessee Tech. My long-term goal is to be a contributor and leader of the Cookeville community.”
