Machine Intelligence and Data Science (MInDS) Center

The Machine Intelligence and Data Science (MInDS) Center coordinates artificial intelligence and data science research and education efforts across Tennessee Tech University. The center brings together faculty and researchers from diverse backgrounds to create and support cross-cutting research and educational opportunities across a wide variety of applications and research.

Current AI-related graduate education and research spans many departments on campus and includes work in following areas:

  • Applied AI (e.g., cybersecurity, healthcare, and environmental studies)
  • Machine Learning
  • Robotics
  • Trustworthy/Explainable AI

AI-Corp Opportunity

The Machine Intelligence and Data Science (MInDS) Center is piloting a workforce development scholarship program for computer science DSAI undergraduate students.  Applicants must have a passion for pursuing a career in artificial intelligence and maintaining a high academic standard.  In addition, applicants must be in Fast Track or be eligible for Fast Track, graduating in May 2025, and willing to pursue M.S. degree. TnTech's AI-Corps program provides full tuition and fees and a generous monthly stipend.
