Degree Details

The goal of the undergraduate Civil Engineering program with a concentration in Geological Engineering is to instill in our graduates the knowledge, skills, attitude, and ethical values necessary to be successful practitioners who are able to impart positive social impacts at the state, regional, national, and international levels. Students in the Geological Engineering concentration use principles of geology, hydraulic and mechanics to provide safe, economical and environmentally conscious support to civil engineering structures. Graduates identify, evaluate and mitigate geohazards such as landslides and earthquakes.
