The Music Performance program’s jazz option allows students to blend improvisation, music theory, and music history with ensemble and solo performance opportunities. Students work closely with faculty and guest artists, performing in a wide variety of styles and developing the skills needed for professional performance, teaching, or advanced graduate study in jazz.
