Sociology

Sociology is the study of the development, structure, interaction and collective behavior of organized groups of human beings. The sociology major exposes students to population studies, crime and delinquency, marriage and family relations, mass communication, deviant behavior, technology and society, community studies and minority relations. A variety of courses allow students the freedom and flexibility to explore their unique interests while gaining an understanding of societal forces.
