The School of Art, Craft and Design at Tennessee Tech University will present the 28th annual Bacchanal on Sunday, Oct. 26, 2025, from 1 to 5 p.m. at Spankies Restaurant in Cookeville.

All proceeds from Bacchanal support scholarships for students in the School of Art, Craft and Design degree programs. Since its inception, the event has awarded more than $150,000 in student scholarships.

Bacchanal features a live auction of art and fine craft, donated by local and national artists and collectors. Guests at the auction can bid on a diverse array of pieces, ranging from blown-glass vases and unique statement jewelry to hand-forged utensils and striking contemporary paintings. Many of these pieces are created by prominent local artists and alumni, students, artist residents and Tech faculty.

Attendees can savor an elegant buffet filled with delicious, tastefully prepared dishes by Spankies Restaurant, paired with fine wines and craft beers provided by Empire Distributors of Tennessee and TriStar Beverages of Cookeville. In addition to the refreshments, a jazz quartet featuring School of Music students will present festive live music.

Reservations are available for $65 in advance or may be purchased at the door for $75 while seats remain. The live auction begins at 2 p.m.
