Tennessee Tech unveils Influxer NIL program for Golden Eagles
Tennessee Tech University today announced a new partnership with Influxer, an innovative name, image and likeness (NIL) platform designed to expand opportunities for Golden Eagle student-athletes both on and off the field.
Through the Influxer platform, Tennessee Tech student-athletes will have access to personalized NIL tools, including custom merchandise storefronts, branding resources and skills training, that empower student-athletes to build and monetize their personal brands in compliance with NCAA and university policies.
“We’re thrilled to bring Influxer to Tennessee Tech,” said Bobbie Maynard, Associate Vice President for Marketing & Communications, who also manages the university’s trademarks and licensing program. “Our student-athletes represent Tennessee Tech with integrity and excellence. Providing them with meaningful NIL opportunities that not only create revenue, but also develop long-term professional skills, aligns directly with our mission to support their success in competition, in the classroom and beyond.”
“The NIL landscape is constantly evolving and working with the team at Tennessee Tech has been an amazing opportunity to see the vision they have for providing great options through Influxer for their student-athletes,” said Keith Miller, Vice President of Influxer. “They see this as not simply a transactional opportunity, but as an opportunity to develop long term skills for life.”
This announcement comes as Tennessee Tech athletics celebrates last year’s historic Golden Eagle football campaign. Under the leadership of head coach Bobby Wilder, the team delivered one of its strongest seasons in recent memory with double-digit wins and competitive postseason play – all milestones that reflect the program’s growth and the commitment of student-athletes, coaches, alumni and fans.
“Our football team’s performance this past season energized the entire campus and Upper Cumberland community,” said Casey Fox, Director of Athletics. “It’s a testament to the character and resilience of our Golden Eagles. The energy generated by that success, combined with investments in facilities like Tucker Stadium and new opportunities like Influxer, positions Tech to elevate every student-athlete’s experience.”
While fans cheered on the gridiron, significant progress has also been made on one of the most transformative infrastructure projects in Tennessee Tech’s history – the Tucker Stadium west side reconstruction. The iconic stadium, home of Golden Eagle football since 1966, is being reimagined with new premium seating, enhanced amenities and expanded fan experiences that will drive visibility for Tech’s athletic programs and strengthen community engagement for generations to come. The new stadium is expected to open for the fall 2026 season.
The Influxer partnership is another investment in Golden Eagle student-athletes’ futures, complementing Tennessee Tech’s broad commitment to academic excellence, competitive athletics and meaningful engagement beyond the playing surface.
