Tennessee Tech University is hitting the road this fall, giving prospective students and their families the chance to learn more about the university without traveling far from home.

The university will bring its signature “Tech to You” event series to communities across the state, with stops in Franklin, Murfreesboro, Mt. Juliet, Chattanooga and Knoxville beginning Oct. 27. For the first time, the roadshow will also make a stop in Huntsville, Ala., following the university’s decision to extend in-state tuition rates to students in the region. Tech President Phil Oldham is slated to attend each event, along with university faculty, admissions counselors and recruitment staff.

“Tech to You gives students and families a chance to experience a little of what makes Tennessee Tech special right in their own communities,” said Director of Admissions Jacob Cutshall. “Our team will be there to answer questions, share information about academic programs and campus life, and help students navigate the admissions and scholarship process. Plus, guests can enjoy refreshments and giveaways. It’s a fun, relaxed way to get a better idea of all Tennessee Tech has to offer.”

This year, the university will award Presidential Scholarships, guaranteed scholarships of up to $10,000 per year, to students in attendance who have been admitted for the fall 2027 semester and meet eligibility criteria.

Tech to You events are free to attend, but students and families are encouraged to register in advance at www.tntech.edu/techtoyou.
