The Competitive Edge

Tennessee Tech College of Engineering Excellence Report

Welcome to the first edition of “The Competitive Edge”

We are excited to share with you these outstanding accomplishments of our college. In what has been one of the most challenging climates in the history of higher education, our productivity has climbed to ever greater heights. We’ve had a banner month in awards of grants and contracts, our building planning is on schedule, we’ve added six new faculty to the college, and our fall enrollment is up – both in the College of Engineering and for Tennessee Tech. We’ve adeptly balanced the needs of our students, faculty, staff, with academic best-interests and safety. We are aggressively ramping up new programs and activities in the college. Our faculty are implementing new pedagogy, our students are readily adapting, and our staff have been the wind lifting our wings. Tennessee Tech has faced this challenge with resolve and determination, and have excelled! The strength and skill of everyone in the College of Engineering is on full display in the following. I couldn’t be prouder to serve you.

Please enjoy reading this with pride as we highlight the achievements of our community.
