As your college experience is just beginning, we want you to make the most out of your time here. There are a lot of things to conquer during your first few weeks on campus. Here are a few things that will help you get the most out of your first two weeks!
Dining Options Dining options on campus include the Caf, located on the first floor of the Roaden
University Center, as well as additional dining options such as Starbucks, Which-Wich,
Steak'n'Shake, Au Bon Pain Cafe and Bakery, and Papa John's.
Fitness Center
Get fit at the university Fitness Center! The center features basketball courts, racquetball
courts, a climbing wall, a pool, a track, saunas, weight room, golf room, cardiovascular
area and more. There are also group fitness classes and equipment rentals!
Safety and Security Tennessee Tech is a safe campus community with a dedicated staff of professional law
enforcement and public safety personnel. University police are on campus 365 days
a year, seven days a week, 24 hours a day to support the safety and security of campus
facilities. Don't forget to sign up for the Campus Alert System!
Community Connect to the Cookeville community, Tennessee Tech’s hometown. Less than a mile from
the city’s downtown area, Tech is close by some of Cookeville’s best parks, shops
and eateries. There are nine state parks within an hour of campus and concerts, festivals,
museums and scenic spots all around.
