New Digital Eagle Card for Perk Partners
Tennessee Tech has launched the digital Eagle Card, a smarter and more convenient way for students, faculty and staff to access Perk Partner benefits. The digital card works just like the physical Eagle Card but can be stored directly on a smartphone or smartwatch.
What is the digital Eagle Card?
The Eagle Card is the official campus ID for Tennessee Tech. In addition to the physical card, members of the Tech community can now add their Eagle Card to their Apple Wallet, Google Wallet or Samsung Wallet. This allows them to tap or display their card using their device.
The digital version is a secure credential and is fully valid for Perk Partner discounts.
How to recognize it
When a customer presents a digital Eagle Card, you can expect to see:
- The card displayed on a phone or smartwatch.
- The user’s name, photo and role (student, faculty or staff).
- A format shown through Apple Wallet, Google Wallet or Samsung Wallet — all are valid.
What Perk Partners should do
We encourage all Perk Partner businesses to familiarize their staff with the digital card format to ensure a smooth experience for customers using their mobile credentials.
