Our Community Partners
The Ross Reading Camp: A Legacy of Literacy is made possible through the support and collaboration of community partners who share our commitment to helping children grow as readers and life-long learners.
Plenty Bookshop
Plenty Bookshop in Cookeville supports the Ross Reading Camp by helping us select high-interest, age-appropriate books that children are excited to read and keep.
Their expertise in children’s literature and their commitment to connecting young readers with great stories play a key role in building each camper’s home library. They play a pivotal role in providing opportunities for campers to meet local authors of children’s books.

Feeding the Future
Feeding the Future helps ensure that every child at the Ross Reading Camp has access to nutritious meals.
Through this partnership, campers receive breakfast, a snack, and lunch each day of camp, allowing them to focus on learning and enjoying their time at Tennessee Tech.

Kainos Church
Kainos Church partners with the Ross Reading Camp by providing volunteers, encouragement, and practical support.
Their involvement helps create a welcoming environment for families and contributes to the smooth operation of camp activities and events.

Tennessee Governor’s Early Literacy Foundation
Ross Reading Camp is grateful for the support of the Tennessee Governor’s Early Literacy Foundation, which has provided brand-new Scholastic book packs for every camper in our 2026 program. These high-quality books allow children to continue reading at home and help families build personal libraries that support literacy beyond the camp experience. This partnership strengthens our shared commitment to ensuring that children across Tennessee have access to engaging, age-appropriate books and opportunities to grow as confident readers.
