Audition Location: Backdoor Playhouse

Audition Date: Tuesday, September 1, 2026

Audition Time: 6:00 p.m. 

Please prepare 16-32 memorized bars from a musical. An accompanist will be provided. Audition excerpts should be in a hard three-ring binder (that easily stays open on the piano) with minimal page turns that include markings of where the accompanist should begin and end. 

A dance/movement audition will be held after sung auditions. Please bring comfortable clothes and shoes to move in. Tennis shoes or character shoes are appropriate.

Callbacks: September 2 and 3, 2026

Callback Time: 6:00 p.m. 

Callback music will be available on this site prior to auditions.

Performance Dates: November 5, 6, 7, 8, 12, 13, 14

First Rehearsal: September 8, 2026

AUDITION POLICY:
To participate in a TN Tech theatre production, you must be a student enrolled in classes for credit. This means no faculty or staff unless they are taking courses and earning a grade and students who audit classes are not eligible. Thank you.

By completing the audition form, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you understand participation in the production requires commitment to scheduled rehearsals and performances.
