2019 Eagle Works Competition: Saturday, April 6, 2019
The TN Tech Eagle Works Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition encourages and supports student entrepreneurship at Tennessee Tech University. Contestants form teams focused around an innovative business idea, validate their business ideas with lean concepts, write a business plan, and pitch their idea to a panel of judges for a chance to win thousands in awards. TN Tech supports contestants by providing fun events, workshops, groups of like-minded people, a cutting edge makerspace, virtual reality technologies, for-credit classes, and awards from sponsors and industry partners.
The competition offers three tracks: technical innovation, where students present a prototype of an innovation that could be commercialized; creative/artistic, for students to propose a business venture; and social impact, where students develop ideas to affect social change. The winning team in each track receives a monetary award to start or continue their business, prototyping, research, legal fees and other costs associated with operating a business.
These awards are 100% donor-funded. Please consider a gift to the Eagle Works Competition at this time. Your generosity will provide these future leaders of industry the resources they need to revolutionize how we do business. The giving form below allows you to give directly to the Eagle Works Competition. We want to build a better future, and to do that we need your support.
