What is Eagle Works?
Eagle Works is an innovation & entrepreneurship competition where undergraduate and graduate students of any major can register and create their own innovative ideas and pitch them to a panel of judges for the chance to win! This year’s awards total $15,000!
How do I compete?
Don’t let the words “innovation & entrepreneurship competition” fool you, this competition is an excellent opportunity for students of all majors to bring their ideas to life. You can join alone or form a team to compete!
Step 1. Be a Tennessee Tech student
Step 2. Register at https://www.tntech.edu/machform/view.php?id=310903
Step 3. Form or join a team.
Step 4. Meet with your team to create a business model and pitch
Step 5. Compete!

Have you ever had a great idea for a product or business, but were afraid to create it because you were worried Tech may have the rights to it? Come to our pop-up event on Intellectual Property on Wednesday, Feb. 27 at 5 p.m. in the iMakerspace. Learn the basics of protecting your work, including how and when to apply for a patent, and what type is best for you. Cookeville attorney Kent Moore will present and there will be plenty of time for all your questions! The iMakerspace is on the 3rd floor of the Volpe Library.
