A nontraditional student (or adult learner) is a new, first-time college student who will be 21 years of age or older as of the first day of classes. As a new student here at Tech, we hope to make your transition as smooth as possible. Although orientation is not required for non-traditional students, we highly encourage you to complete non-traditional student online orientation.

Our online orientation program will provide you with a brief introduction to Tennessee Tech, and highlight some of the resources you will have access to as a Golden Eagle. Online orientation usually takes about 1 hour to complete, and can be completed at your convenience!
