About the Burnett Recreation Center
The Marc L. Burnett Recreation Center is the hub of student fitness, wellness and adventure at Tennessee Tech. The facility offers opportunities for recreation, exercise and personal wellness through Intramural Sports, Fitness and Wellness programs and Eagle Outdoors.
Inside the center, you'll find:
- A 25-yard indoor swimming pool
- Cardiovascular and weight-training equipment
- Multipurpose courts
- An indoor running track
- Group fitness spaces and programs
Because the center was funded by Tennessee Tech students, it is not open to the general
public. Access is available to:
Current students and their families
- Faculty and staff and their families
- Graduates and their families
- Retired faculty and staff and their families
- To enter the facility, present your Eagle Card or membership card at the front desk.
Whether you're attending a fitness class, playing intramural sports, training for a personal goal or preparing for your next outdoor adventure, the Burnett Recreation Center provides a place for the Tennessee Tech community to stay active and engaged.
