Campus Recreation

Group Fitness Classes

We offer group fitness classes throughout the semester for student, members, and guests. All classes are free for students and you don't need to sign up in advance. Drop ins are encouraged! Classes can be purchased at the front desk and we accept cash or card. All classes are held in the Burnett Recreation Center.

Fall 2022 Dates:
August 29 - December 8

Note: There will be no classes on Sept. 3, Oct. 10 and 11, and Nov. 23, 24, and 25.

› Fox Dance Collective

Wednesdays, 6 PM to 7:15 PM — Instructor: Emma — Location: Studio 203
A dance workout that includes cardio, stretching, turns, leaps, down-the-floor routines and large/small group choreography. Moves from modern, jazz, and hip-hop styles.

› Fun Fitness

Wednesdays, 9 AM to 9:45 AM — Instructor: Sydney — Location: Studio 203
A high energy workout focusing on flexibility and range of movement choreographed to upbeat music.

› Perseverance

Tuesdays, 9 AM to 10 AM — Instructor: Spencer — Location: Studio 207
A functional fitness class designed to improve stamina, strength, flexibility and balance using minimal  equipment. All fitness levels are welcome.

› Power Lunch

Tuesdays and Thursdays, 12:10 PM to 12:55 PM — Instructor: Ann Marie — Location: Studio 250
A fun total body strength training workout in a non-intimidating setting! Utilize a variety of equipment 
(free weights, elastic bands, fitness balls…) and body weight exercises (squats, lunges, planks…) to tone and strengthen the body. Exercise modifications are always offered, and all fitness levels are welcome.

› Vinyasa Flow Yoga

Wednesdays, 4 PM to 5 PM — Instructor: Addison — Location: Studio 207
An intermediate level class, modified for all levels, designed to get you moving and warm the body up by flowing through sequences of poses increasing overall flexibility and strength.

› Water Aerobics

Tuesdays and Thursdays, 5 PM to 6 PM — Instructor: Olivia/Mikah — Location: Pool
Move and have fun in the water to a variety of upbeat music for an invigorating workout. All fitness levels are welcome.
