Group Fitness Classes

A group of students paticipating in an indoor cycling class.We offer group fitness classes throughout the semester for student, members, and guests. All classes are free for students and you don't need to sign up in advance. Drop ins are encouraged! Classes can be purchased at the front desk and we accept cash or card.

All classes are held in the Burnett Recreation Center.

Class Descriptions



Mondays and Wednesdays, 4:15 PM - 5 PM — Instructor: Ashley — Location: Studio 203
High intensity interval training. Short bursts of intense exercise with low intensity recovery periods. An efficient, effective, and fun form of cardio that boosts heart rate. All levels welcome.

› Pilates

Mondays and Wednesdays, 5 PM - 6 PM — Instructor: Ashley — Location: Studio 203
A low intensity workout focused on building strength while improving flexibility through controlled body weight movement. All levels are welcome.

› Spin

Tuesdays and Thursdays, 5 PM - 6 PM Instructor: Hailey — Location: Studio 207
A group fitness experience on a stationary bike! Great for everyone, male, female, conditioned, deconditioned, because YOU control your pace and resistance. 

› Power Lunch

Tuesdays 12:10 PM - 12:55 PM — Instructor: Ann Marie — Location: Studio 250
A fun total body strength training workout in a non-intimidating setting! Utilize a variety of equipment (free weights, elastic bands, fitness balls...) and body weight exercises ( squats, lunges, planks...) to tone and strengthen the body. Exercise modifications are always offered and all fitness levels are welcome.

› Water Aerobics

Mondays and Wednesdays, 5 PM - 6 PM — Instructor: Addie— Location: Pool
Move and have fun in the water to a variety of upbeat music for an invigorating workout. All fitness levels are welcome.
