Dual Enrollment

Are you ready to start earning college credits while you’re still in high school? Get started today by enrolling in Tennessee Tech’s Dual Enrollment Program! Public / private / homeschool high school students who meet the eligibility requirements can get their college career jump-started by taking select courses, helping them make a smooth transition to Tech to complete their degree.

Tennessee Tech is home to an excellent Dual Enrollment Program and has MOU partnerships with the following high schools: Cookeville High School, Oak Ridge High School, Hillsboro High School, John Overton High School, Stratford High School, Oakland High School, Monterey High School, Upperman High School, Clinton County High School, Highland Rim Academy, and Jackson County High School.

Tennessee Tech also offers online Dual Enrollment courses that are open to non-partnering schools and home school students on a limited basis and selected subject material such as ASL, Foreign Language, General Ed, Engineering, and Environmental Science courses. 

 

Admission Requirements

In order to participate in the program, students from these schools must meet the following requirements:

  • Have a 3.0 or higher grade point average
  • Have reached Junior level or higher academically
  • Obtain high school counselor approval
