Advisement & Retention Services

Update regarding COVID-19 and Advisement

Tennessee Tech has been monitoring the COVID-19 outbreak to ensure measures are taken to maintain the safety and health of students, faculty, and staff. At this time, currently enrolled students who need advising services, resources, and information should check their student email for possible updates communicated from their academic advisor or contact their academic advisor via TechConnect ( - See "Your Success Team" section once you login and click on the message icon).

Additional information and resources regarding advising services during the University's COVID-19 response are available here -

The Office of Advisement & Retention Services serves as a resource and guide for all academic advisors and retention efforts at Tennessee Tech. We coordinate professional development and training for advisors and retention experts on campus.

Student Success Centers in each of the Colleges house professional advisors who are available to assist students with academic issues and provide guidance for advisement and academic success. For contact information on the Student Success Centers, visit
