The Department of Mathematics awards scholarships to incoming students (freshmen and transfer students), and to current Tennessee Tech mathematics majors. The selection criteria for these scholarships include the student’s previous academic record, standardized test scores, and the student’s written description of his/her career goals and their relationship to the study of mathematics. The Tennessee Tech Scholarship website provides information about the scholarship application process and the online application tool ScholarWeb. ScholarWeb accepts applications from August 1 through December 15 for the following academic year. So applications for 2021-2022 scholarship awards must be submitted by December 15, 2020. Information about financial aid such as grants and loans can be found at the Tennessee Tech Financial Aid Office website.
