Car Team Wins Southern Regional Chem - E - Car Championship
The Car Team at Tennessee Tech University is the Southern Regional Chem - E - Car
Champion. After receiving 1st place by getting the closest to the target distance,
the team has a spot for the national competition. This is the first time since 2011
for a team from TN Tech to place first at a car competition. I am proud to serve as
the captain for this car. Thank you to Erick Kapamas Jr. for mentoring me, the Department
of Chemical Engineering at TN Tech, the TN Tech Car Team, AIChE Nationals, and the
University of Auburn for helping to put the competition together. Time for Nationals!
