Manufacturing Education Using Virtual Environment Resources

The application deadline has passed and we are no longer accepting applications.

This is an NSF-funded virtual workshop on Digital Manufacturing Instruction using Virtual Reality (VR) technology. The workshop will cover VR-based digital manufacturing instruction practices. All sessions are online.

Introductory Session: January 10, 2022 11:00 a.m - 12:00 noon (CST)

Watch 6-8 YouTube videos, 20-30 minutes each (flexible times)

Closing Session: January 14, 2022 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon (CST)

Participants will receive a $600 stipend and a VR headset.

Applications should include:

cover letter or letter of intent
resume
plan for implementing this material into your classroom
