Flight Foundations Course Proposal Information
New Flight Foundations course proposals will follow the approval process laid out below. Course proposals will need to be approved by the Department and by the College prior to submission to the General Education Curriculum Committee. The Department and College approval process will require course information to be entered into Coursedog. After approval from the Department and College, the General Education Curriculum Committee will evaluate the alignment of the proposed course to the Flight Foundations categories and student learning outcomes. The Flight Foundations Course Proposal Form will need to be completed for the General Education Curriculum Committee.

Existing courses that have NOT been approved as a general education course must also be submitted to the General Education Curriculum Committee for review. The same Flight Foundations Course Proposal Form will need to be completed for the existing courses. All courses approved by the General Education Curriculum Committee will then need to be approved by the University Curriculum Committee. Please be aware of the committee meeting dates and timeline detailed below.

Flight Foundations Course Proposal Form
The Flight Foundations Course Proposal Form collects information about the alignment of the proposed courses learning outcomes to the Flight Foundations student learning outcomes. Proposed courses must address a specific number of Flight Foundations student learning outcomes as described below. Proposals should directly address which learning outcomes are being addressed and how the course addresses those learning outcomes. A course syllabus in pdf format is also required for the submission.
