Tennessee Tech University is located within the city of Cookeville, which serves as the county seat for Putnam County. The University's location makes it convenient for students to utilize city and county resources close by. The campus is less than a mile from a regional hospital and medical complex and approximately one mile from two fire departments and Cookeville Police Department.
