Step 1: Set Up Your Tech Express Account

Tech Express is a powerful resource you'll use often! You'll find all your most-used Tennessee Tech resources, including your Tech Email, WiFi password, T-Number, University News and Events, the Campus Directory, and so much more. Tech Express also automatically logs you into all campus websites. You won't need to remember multiple usernames and passwords for different sites; as long as you're logged into Tech Express, you're good to go!

Step 2: Access Eagle Online and Email Through Tech Express

Eagle Online: This is the student portal you will use to access class schedules, scholarships, and other student information throughout your college career.

ACCESS EAGLE ONLINE

Tech Email: Every new student at Tech is given a Tech email account. Your email will be the primary communication method for Financial Aid, Scholarships, and more, so keep your eyes peeled for exciting updates.

Step 3: Apply for Scholarships! Deadline: December 15

Tennessee Tech has a single scholarship application that automatically puts you in the running for more than 600 scholarships. Be sure to apply as early as possible, as the deadline to fill out the scholarship application is December 15th for the following academic year.

If you have any questions about your scholarships, email scholarships@tntech.edu

Step 4: Submit Your FAFSA

In order to be eligible for financial aid, you must have a FAFSA on file. This is something you must do every year as a college student, but it is particularly important to ensure you get as much aid as you can in your freshman year. To automatically send us your FAFSA information, add Tennessee Tech to your FAFSA application using our official code: 003523.

Complete the FAFSA

If you have questions about your financial aid, email financialaid@tntech.edu.

Step 5: Accept Your Scholarships

Being awarded a scholarship does not mean you automatically receive it; you must either accept or decline the award before the deadline, given on the award letter or email, in order to secure it. Make sure you check your Tech email often for notices of awards. You can check your award status and accept scholarships via Eagle Online.

How to Accept Scholarships

If you have questions about your scholarships, email scholarships@tntech.edu.

Step 6: Apply for Housing

One of the most exciting parts of your college experience is living on campus! We have 15 residential halls available, as well as Tech Village apartments, so you can find the best fit for you.
