What is the Disabled Elderly Tuition Waiver Program?

Permanently, totally disabled persons, persons who have retired from state service with 30 or more years regardless of age, and persons 60 years of age or older that are domiciled in Tennessee, may audit courses at Tennessee Tech University without paying tuition and mandatory fees as long as classroom space is available. Certain other fees may apply.

Permanently, totally disabled persons, persons who have retired from state service with 30 or more years regardless of age, and persons 65 years of age or older domiciled in Tennessee may enroll in courses for credit at Tennessee Tech University by paying a administrative fee of $70 flat fee in lieu of tuition and mandatory fees. Certain other fees still apply. Enrollment is subject to classroom available space.
