School of Human Ecology
Friday Café is the hands-on learning experience for foods and nutrition students in Human Ecology. A student-led restaurant, open only on Fridays for lunch, the Friday Café provides a real-world learning experience for students enrolled in HEC 3240 Quantity Food Production. Students experience every aspect of meal management including menu planning, food production, purchasing, service, food sanitation and safety, and marketing.
We are excited to announce that we will be back in the dining room (OKLY 005) for Spring 2022 semester and will also offer a carry-out option that can be picked up at the Friday Café kitchen door (OKLY 006).

Friday Café dates for Spring 2022 are:

The cost of a single meal this semester will be $8.50; your reservation must be confirmed
by making pre-payment by noon that Wednesday for Friday’s meal. Payment can be made
through Tennessee Tech Marketplace. We are unable to process refunds at this time. If you have questions, you may call
931-372-3157. Meal service will take place in the dining room (OKLY 005) this semester,
and carry-out options can be picked up at the Friday Café kitchen door (OKLY 006).
