Cattywampus

Cattywampus Puppet Council Exhibition

Cattywampus Puppet Council is a 501c3 community-based arts organization and an intergenerational collective of artists, performers, teachers, musicians, and community organizers. Over the past 10 years, they have been bringing innovative theater, youth programming, people-powered parades, and giant puppet magic to communities across East Tennessee and the South, collaborating with a wide range of organizations, artists, and institutions including: the Knoxville Museum of Art, UT School of Art, the Knox County Public Library, Big Ears Festival, the Johnson City Public Art Committee, The Preservation Hall Jazz Band, and most recently Yo-Yo Ma.


Robinson

Cory Robinson Furniture & Design Exhibition

Cory Robinson is an artist, designer, and professor at the Herron School of Art & Design at Indiana University Indianapolis. He has an MFA in Applied Design from San Diego State University and has taught studio arts at Herron since the spring of 2003. He is currently the George and Diane Seybert Endowed Faculty Chair in Furniture Design at the Herron School of Art & Design. His range of artmaking includes painted works on paper, functional furniture objects, lighting designs and public art installations. 


TTU Student Art Exhibition
March 21-May 1
Reception & Awards Ceremony March 27 | 5 p.m.

This juried exhibition will feature the artistic accomplishments and talents of students in the Art Department at TTU. Through a competitive  application process juried by an accomplished outside juror, students will have the opportunity to have their work seen by a prominent figure in contemporary art and craft. Along with serving as a juror for this exhibition, the selected juror will visit the campus to select award winners and deliver public comments on the topic of the exhibition.
